as you certainly know, there are different styles of art. vector art, pixel and pencil art, traditional and digital painting. i am practicing my (not yet existing) digital painting skills. (three scraps and this weird looking id). because i admire those who are able to paint.. digitally. most of those people inspire me to those little stories i'm used write lately. well.. i want to be able to do that as well. i want to paint digitally.

so there are two things i want you to do this time.

firstly. many of you have focused on one single style of art. some of you concentrate on wallpapers, some of you prefer vectors over paintings. but why is that?

why do you prefer the style you use.
does it help you to express certain feelings in a way no other style could do? furthermore, what does it mean to you.. do you consider art as something that has to be done. or is it something you enjoy doing. what is art for you?..

secondly. i have absolutely no idea of how to accomplish that. does anyone of you know any good tutorials. (i've seen a few, but they demand certain basic skill which i don't have). so if you know any, it would be greatly appreciated if you tell me where i can get them. well there is another thing i want you to ask.. do you suggest such a wacom tablet? most of the people, whose pictures are doubtlessly beautiful use them. hm. any experiences to share?
